ABOUT
BERNEDOODLES

SCIENTIFIC NAME :

Canis lupus familiaris

A mix between the beautiful and affectionate Bernese Mountain Dog and the smart, funloving intelligent Mini Poodle. A relatively new hybrid dog, it is thought that the first Bernedoodle appeared around 2003-2004.

The F1B Bernedoodle is a very healthy breed with a non-shed rate making them perfect for people with allergies and people who like a loose to curly coat as the pups are two-thirds Poodle. Pups look like a shaggy teddy bear.

The Bernedoodle is well-suited to be a service dog for emotional support, PTSD or physical therapy which exclaim their readiness to take tenderly to their human companions both young and old. Bernedoodles are gentle with babies and toddlers, energetic enough to play in the yard with teenagers and sensitive with the elderly- they really are a superb all-rounder!

The F1B Mini Bernedoodle is the best in dog breed crosses! They have no drooling potential, phenomenally loyal, most docile temperament, make exceptional guard dog, highly intelligent, easy to train, affectionate with family, incredibly kid friendly dog, loves to play, very playful, hypoallergenic, enthusiastic and love to cuddle.

Being relatively healthy and non shedding you'll be giving most of your attention to training and keeping them occupied. Bernedoodles thrive in family homes where there is plenty going on. Bouncing Bernedoodles are very trainable and very motivated to learn and of course they LOVE you so they will be extremely willing to please.

Both Bernese Mountain Dogs and Poodles are considered excellent family dogs that adapt well to surroundings with children.

Bernedoodles tend to get along great with other breeds. As is always the case with a new animal, take the time to closely supervise their introduction in the beginning to insure the safety of all dogs involved.

Benedoodles are estimated to live between 10-15 years. B&B F1B Mini Bernedoddles are estimated to weigh between 23-30 pounds.

Being that your puppy is a crossbred puppy there is no registration. You could register your puppy with the AKC after it is spayed or neutered. As a hybrid they are recognized by any Kennel clubs but they have been a registered breed with the International Designer Canine Registry since 2009.
